A Warm Invitation to Contribute to Our AFID Stories — AFID 2025 Reflections & Stories Collection
We warmly invite all participants of the 27th Asian Federation on Intellectual Disabilities (AFID) Conference to share your personal reflections and stories!
This call is open to everyone who took part—including delegates, presenters, self-advocates, supporters of self-advocates, staff members, volunteers, students and receptionists of education tours. Your unique voice is vital in capturing the spirit of the event.
Your submission is an opportunity to highlight your experiences, insights, and memorable moments from the conference. We encourage you to reflect on key themes such as inclusion, collaboration, and personal growth, embodying the spirit of Equity, Participation, and Well-Being that defined this year’s AFID conference.

Selected reflections will be featured in the upcoming Our AFID Stories — AFID 2025 Reflections & Stories Collection, helping to preserve the valuable memories of AFID in Taiwan and distribute the spirit of AFID across Asia.
Outstanding works selected for publication will receive a Recognition Award, a Certificate of Commendation, and two copies of the published collection.
The organizer will make the final decision on award results, with fairness and appreciation for all participants.
