This keynote session will explore how thoughtfully applied AI-based technologies can enhance mobility, independence, and self-determination for individuals with intellectual disabilities—opening up new possibilities in education, housing, employment, and daily life. At the same time, he will critically examine the potential risks of exclusion if these tools prioritize performance over inclusion. The session addresses both the opportunities and challenges of AI for people with a wide range of support needs, from mild to profound disabilities.
